What’s in the box?
Every box includes 3 - 5 print books and 1 - 3 eBooks in a random assortment from the books the Fresh Fiction team selected for the month. No two boxes are exactly alike.
What kind of books will be in the box?
Fresh Fiction focuses on genre fiction, romance in particular. There will be the occasional mystery, suspense, inspirational, erotica, YA, and paranormal as well. Print books can be hardback, trade size, or mass market. EBooks will be a mix of the most common formats of epub, mobi, and pdf.
I only want romance, can I customize my box?
No, all boxes are packed at random and each box is a surprise. That's part of the fun!
When is the deadline to sign up?
The deadline to sign up for the next box is the 20th of every month. If you sign up before the 20th, your first box will be shipped during the last week of the same month. Any subscribers who sign up after the 20th, will get their box at the end of the following month. For example, if you sign up on the 23rd of May your first box will be the July box which will ship during the last week of June.
When will I get my box?
Fresh Fiction Box Not to Miss is shipped out during the last week of the month and, weather permitting, will be delivered to you by the first of the month. For example, September's box will ship out during the last week of August and you will get it by September 1st. We are on a magazine schedule, we want you to get your books before the month even starts.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free to anywhere in the US. We also have discounted shipping for Canada. Shipping to Canada is $10-$11. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not ship to the rest of the world.
What name will appear on my bill?
Your credit card bill will have the name OFF-THE-EDGE when you are charged.
Can I exchange my books?
There are no exchanges. Boxes are packed at random and each box is a surprise.
I'm having trouble with the download link for my free eBook, what do I do?
If it is a bit.ly or an ow.ly link, please be sure to type the link exactly as you see it. All bit.lys and ow.lys are case-sensitive. All eBooks have a download expiration date, make sure to download your books as soon as they arrive. If you still are having trouble, please contact us at [email protected].
I'm getting too many books!
If you need a break from all the books or are away from home, you can easily skip a month by clicking the 'skip' button on your account page (under the 'edit subscription' section).
If you would like to cancel, log in to your account, click to edit your subscription, and click cancel. Doing so will cancel your subscription but not your current shipment. If you have already paid and/or renewed, you will not get a refund, you will get one final box.
Monthly subscriptions and 3-month prepaid plans can be cancelled before they renew for another term from your account page. We do not give refunds after your subscription renews. We do not issue refunds for "refused" boxes.
